Dining Room Vignette
In my last post I mentioned the Wardrobe Therapy task-a-long that some folks are bravely attempting and that I could seriously use. I could also use some Apartment Therapy. There's no way an 8 Week Cure is happening around here anytime soon (the holiday season, hello), but I thought I might make an effort on some of the areas that don't need a ton of work. And so I present to you the clean, tidy mini-bar and table linen stand. A classic combination, I always thought. Who doesn't need a napkin when they're drinking? An activity we do a lot of, as you can tell from the staggering selection. We also have two bottles of wine stored away and a bottle of Guiness in the fridge. PAR-TAY.
Right. So, the above not so great, marred by the flash photo is the after. It's only worth a nod, though, if you see the before. Sigh. Why is my dignity always the first thing to go?
Actually, this is not that bad (you haven't seen the closet--you WON'T see the closet), but, like I said, we're starting with attainable.
Here is a closer photo of the little stand. In the future I'd like to maybe refinish it or add some pizazz to the top--maybe a shiny silver tray or an abstract mosaic? But right now I am satisfied with clean and tidy. And finally getting that photo hung.
